WILD FLOWERS GAME
Wild Flowers is a light strategy game by Moose Toys. Play petal tiles to the board to create a beautiful board of flowers! Use secret Garden Cards to increase the value of your petals and claim flowers with your bumblebees.
At Moose Toys, I was the lead designer for the packaging, branding, and components for Wild Flowers. I designed the box with custom illustrations and a bold logo. I carried out this design through the cards, tiles, and instruction sheet.
How the branding blossomed
In concept stage, this design went through many phases of trial and error. My team knew this game had to be beautiful both on shelf and on the table. It had to be unique but also approachable. We tried many themes, directions, and art styles. Once we felt we had a winning theme, I had to support it with winning graphics. Creating illustrations of a colorful and lush flowerbed was not the hardest part for me - I loved this subject matter! We opted for a stark white backdrop for this flowerbed to help it stand out the most. I carried this art style throughout the entire identity of the game - including the instruction sheet, cards, petal tiles, and marketing assets.
